Do. Or Donut. There is no try. Cinnamon-Chai Mini Donut Muffins are on their way to the Emergency Department with The Boy, and I realized it’s been almost a year since I started my weekly treat tribute to him and his coworkers. Almost an entire year of them giving so much and me trying to give back just a bit.

Ya basic! Cinnamon Streusel Muffins are the latest trial in my upcoming “Basic Buttermilk Muffins: Choose Your Own Adventure” blog post. I’ve been working on a versatile muffin recipe for months. One that will hold up to all the add ins you can imagine, from chips, to nuts, to fruit, even a double chocolate chip version, all in one recipe! Look for it next week, and just gaze upon this beauty in the meantime. It’s not so basic 😍

Ryes and Shine ☀️ My Dark Chocolate Caramel Oatmeal Rye Bars are having a moment in the sun. I don’t have millions, or even tens of thousands of followers, but I appreciate each and every one of you. That being said, bloggers like me work hard to create recipes that catch your attention, and whet your appetite. These Oatmeal Rye Bars are one example. They are one of the most popular recipes on my blog, have been featured on @FoodGawker, and are in the number two spot on a Google search, just after Food.com. A great achievement for a small account like mine, or anyone for that matter.

Studmuffin. The Fluffiest Vanilla Cupcakes with Strawberry Buttercream. Yesterday was a rough work from home day for someone in our house, so I adjusted my schedule and made these cupcakes from my blog to cheer her up. It’s really hard to be upset while eating a cupcake.

Mind your biscuits. Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy make a snow day even better, if that’s possible ⛄️ The Boy had an unexpected day off due to weather and I filled him up, hoping he’d take a nap 😴 I wasn’t expecting company.
